Our traditional day camp is filled with fun Art, Animals, Sports, Karaoke, Nerf Blaster, Board Games and much more! We offer a safe, nurturing environment in which children are free to explore new things, meet new friends, and create memories that last a lifetime. The program is designed to cater to the community with a traditional fun camp for grade school aged children. Activities will take place at MLK Park and Gym in Sausalito. We may take field trips to the Bay Model in Sausalito or Sausalito's Parks and Recreational Facilities. We do have the use of the MLK GYM during camp hours. Kids can bring their favorite board games to play in the afternoon, socialize and create conversation with new and old friends.
*Daily programs may change due to weather. We run camps rain or shine.
Meet and Greet (8:00am-9:30am)
All campers will meet and introduce themselves in a group setting. Counselors will go over safety, expectations and all the fun stuff we are going to do that week.
We will play all morning with an array of organized sports. Flag Football (for the older kids), Basketball, Kickball, Obstacle Races, Frisbee, and Nerf games just to name a few. We will also have a fruit snack time/water break at 10:30am. Camp will supply all healthy snacks and bottled water for the week. If your child needs to break we will have a staffed art room with several art projects that will be available to all kids.
Kids bring a bag lunch every day. We will eat in the shade at the MLK GYM picnic tables or inside the MLK Gym if it is cold and windy. Bottled water is provided daily to kids. Please disclose/discuss any food allergies or dietary needs of your camper with camp Director Kandice McGowan.
Afternoon Games or Field Trips
This is where it gets good. We will have the best time playing super fun games like Sumo Ball belly bumping, Nerf Blaster battles, Limbo, Water activities (when weather permits) etc. We will not stop until these kids experience fun and exhaustion. We will break at 2:30pm. Late in the afternoon kids will be able to play board games, view and educate themselves on our friendly animals and do art projects. We will offer a variety of options to end the day.
All campers will help in cleaning up the awesome mess we make during the day. We will play board games, make lego creations, and tell jokes/riddles/tongue twisters to ease our way down from the fun filled day. We will go over the day's activities and what is needed for the next fun day ahead.
*After Care 4:30pm-5:30pm
*Parents MUST pick up their children before 4:30pm (or 5:30pm if they are registered in extended care) or late fees will apply ($10 for every 5 minutes).
